6 Quirky(?) things from Michelle's tag

Max's quirky 6 tag.

1.Many times, I'm shy and self- conscious around people I don't know well, especially if they know who I am, but I don't know them. When we are in a store and Sharon meets someone she knows that I don't, if I'm there, I'll sort of wander off. It I'm not there when I see her talking to someone, I'll sort of go hide.

2.I like to sit in the back corner of meetings, especially church meetings. If Sharon is there, of course we don't sit in the back. In High Priests quorum meeting, my seat is in the back corner of the room. Everybody knows that. I have seen Ben Johnson get out of my seat and move to another seat when I've come in late before.

3. I don't rinse after I'm done brushing my teeth, I just spit it out. Sometimes, I'll get a bit of toothpaste and put it in my mouth before I go to bed.

4.When I drink from a glass I have to put my pinkie under the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, I tend to drop the glass because my hands have sort of grown clumsy.

5.If I'm in a house and it gets dark, it bothers me people can see in and I have to go around and close all the curtains or blinds.

6.If I ever get a small scrape of paper, like a sucker stick, in my mouth, I'll chew it. When I was a kid, I'd sort of eat small scraps of paper. I still love to chew on the paper off of a cupcake.

CONTEST

Regina suggested that we start a "biggest loser" club among our Blair family. It has been proven that losing weight is more successful with a support group. So even if you just need to lose 5 pounds lets be a loving and caring family and support each other in our daily struggle with weight.

Family fun

I was in charge of the Day Family Thanksgiving this year. We had
about 57 family members there. It was also my Dad's 81st Birthday
It was a fun time. Janay and Daniel were the only ones from my family
that could come. It was all of the other kids turns to go to their in laws.





Alyssa turned 7
We had a fun birthday party Friday night





Alyssa loved the new makeup kit, she even gave
Lincoln a makeover, Pink fingernails and all.

Anna Moved into her new home
All of her brothers & Daniel W. came to help her move,
grandma's house was the place for the kids.
We had a fun time. Alyssa, Abby, Andrew, Lindy and Andrew all spent the night
Friday night. Saturday morning we painted a stable in preparation for the
Nativity play on Christmas Day,


Mayzie loved Violet


All the boys enjoyed wrestling with Uncle David.

Grandma's Halloween Party

We had so much fun getting ready for this years Halloween Party. Thanks everyone for coming and making it so much fun.

4th baby girl is here

Friday October 10, at 6:30 AM Janay and Daniel Widdison
had their baby girl. She weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz and was
19 1/2 inches long. Her name is Violet Elizabeth Widdison



So sweet and perfect. Notice the dimple in her chin.



had to take pictures of her feet and hands, look how long her
toes and fingers are. So perfectly formed

Michael came for a visit, his favorite part was putting the bed up and down.

Plugged drain

I came home from work on Wednesday night and cleaned out the sink. I noticed that it had water standing in the bottom and wouldn't drain. I thought,
"I know how to take care of this"
I had just purchased a whole case of bleach, so I dumped one whole gallon down the drain and rain hot water into the sink. It still wouldn't drain, so I ran a few errands, and picked up a plunger at family dollar. When I got back the drain hadn't moved at all. I started plunging and it still didn't move. I took some of the water out, came back and started plunging again. I did that for over an hour and it didn't do a thing. I had my home teacher come over and realized after he broke a pipe that he really didn't know what he was doing. I woke Max up, by then the plumbing was all apart under the sink and the plug was not in any of those pipes. He had to go to work, I went to bed and went to work the next day. Thursday when we got home he cut a pipe in the basement

and found the worst plugged pipe I have ever seen. There was no space for anything to get passed it. This picture shows a space, we had no space at all. He cleaned it out and put everything back together again. I am in awe of his skills. He saved us so much money!
What a sweet guy!! I don't know what I would do without him.

Lava Hot Springs

The Blair Reunion at Lava was a lot of fun this year.
Zella was in charge and did a Luau theme
What a fun thing to do. Aunt Marilyn and I went a little
over board, but I think everyone had a great time.
Thanks Zella it was a great Reunion.

Weekend with the Blairs

Max & I just got back from a weekend with David
& Cindy's family. I took my camera but didn't take
one picture, I was having so much fun just playing
with all of the girls. I got my Mayzie fix, she wouldn't
even go to Max. I played go fish and crazy 8 with Aubrie &
Alyssa, and held Beth and let her suck her thumb and
twist my hair. We went to the beach at Starvation
Reservoir and played in the Big Blue Tubes we are
taking to Lava. It was very relaxing and fun.

Air Force Museum

I took Andrew, Lindy and Lincoln to the Air Force Museum. They had a lot of fun. Andrew really liked
looking at all of the planes. They had one part where the
kids could play on a few things.

Third Baby Girl is here

Born at 10:07 on July 10th
We are so excited that She is here.
I have been watching Andrew &
Lindy while Mom has been in the Hospital We went to visit.

1. I love my new tooth brush, it massages my tongue and cheek as I brush.
It really is amazing.

2. When I make something for someone I need them to tell me they like it about ten times
if they don't I will ask them about that many times if they like it.
Yeah, ten times after that it doesn't matter, weird huh!

3. I really enjoy growing a garden, I plant one each year. I am not very good at harvesting
but I like to plant and take care of it. I like to try something different each year
I have planted Egg Plant, (they were gorgeous), Broccoli, Pumpkins, corn, squash, potatoes
peppers, and lots of tomatoes.This year I have four tomato plants, one cucumber, green beans (never planted them before) Zucchini & yellow crook neck squash, cantaloupe and two different sizes of pumpkin for my Halloween Party.

4. I had 3 plastic surgery operations on my face before I was 17 years old.

5. When I go camping I like to set up a kitchen area, complete with stove, dish washing station, canopy for shade, table and a tarp on the ground so I can keep it clean. I think I set
one up at Lava too, minus the tarp and canopy, sorry that's just me.

6. I like to be involved in different things, I am the Key Club adviser at Davis High, and I really enjoy it. Sometimes I get involved in too many things and then Max has to remind me that I'm doing too much.

We had such a fun day on the 4th

the whole day with us.

I was so surprised at how many other people had
the very same idea. We are to the north Side of the
DHS wall. In front was already taken. Crazy Huh!
